Message From Our Principal
Dear Wildwood Families and Community,
It is my absolute delight to welcome you back for another wonderful year at Wildwood Elementary! This year marks a special milestone in Wildwood's history, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our school's establishment in 1924. For a century, Wildwood Elementary has provided an exceptional education to generations of students. As the newly appointed Principal, I am honored to join the Wildwood community during this momentous centennial year. I look forward to commemorating this important occasion with our students, families, teachers, and staff throughout the 2023-2024 school year.
Though much has changed over the past 100 years, Wildwood's commitment to academic excellence and nurturing young minds remains unwavering. Here's to the next 100 years of learning and growth!
At Wildwood, we strive to see each and every student, making sure they feel known, supported, and that they belong. My top priority is nurturing an environment where every child can thrive academically and socially. I am committed to fostering excellence and success for all!
Together with our Trischool partners, Beach and Havens, we share a vision of developing curious, creative, collaborative students who think critically, communicate effectively, and act responsibly. Our Trischool community is dedicated to academic excellence within a supportive, inclusive climate.
Guided by the Wildwood Way, we build community by being responsible, being respectful, being inclusive and being problem-solvers. I am inspired to see the connections we create by living these values each day.
I'm looking forward to getting to know each of you and supporting your children as they learn and grow. Please feel welcome to reach out anytime with questions or ideas. Please stop by and introduce yourself! I know this is the start of an amazing year!
Fondly,
Melissa Daymond
